- Demographic data are vital for education research. We will maintain the anonymity of students but will return demographic data.
- Ideally, demographic data will be uploaded to the database from the registrar of a participating institution. However, at this stage of development, we will rely on faculty members to upload demographic data on a course by course basis.
- The database must be able to store and link demographic data across courses or assessments or assessment items.
- A faculty member will upload data and metadata associated with an assessment item, assessment or a complete course.
- As part of the data, the faculty will upload student demographic data. The faculty member will indicate the date these data were considered current.
