- *Although the database development team has chosen an ontology (with the assistance of experts in the discipline), additions to that ontology must be possible, to reflect the dynamic nature of science.
+ *Additions or changes to a discipline-specific ontology will be reflected in subsequent versions of the ontology/database. In other words, the ontology is generally not dynamic.

- *The admin team reviews the suggestion and makes the appropriate changes to the ontology.
