Preconditions

Student response data has been uploaded (i.e., there is data to work with!)

Basic course of events

    • Researcher is interested in misconceptions in genetics.
    • Researcher searches database for appropriate genetic assessment items.
    • Researcher downloads student answers to those items (could be a few responses or thousands).
    • Researcher codes those responses according to their 'misconception' rubric.
    • Researcher uploads their rubric (and perhaps even tags assessment items with that rubric).
